How it works
Find a Hiab operator and book directly.
Search your area, explain the load and agree the work with your chosen operator.
1. Choose your collection or delivery area
Search for a town, city or supported postcode, or browse the area directory. Open the page for your job location to see the businesses listed there. If the area has no listings, nearby operators may be shown instead; contact them to check coverage before making arrangements.
For a journey between two areas, include both addresses in your enquiry. The nearest business to the delivery point is not necessarily the only suitable option for the complete collection, transport and unloading job.
2. Match the operator to the work
Look at the company’s services, fleet information and profile photographs. A container movement, a long load of steel and a machinery collection can call for different vehicles and crane arrangements. Ask whether the business has the equipment and experience for your particular item.
You do not need to choose a crane model yourself. Give the operator the load details and explain where it needs lifting from and placing. It can assess the carrying space and crane reach together.
3. Send a useful quote request
Provide the collection and delivery postcodes, item description, weight, dimensions and preferred date. Say whether crane lifting is required at collection, delivery or both. For several items, send a full list so the price covers everything you intend to move.
Include photographs of the load and its starting and finishing positions. Mention a fixed collection slot, a return movement or an exchange of equipment at the same visit. If a weight or dimension is unknown, ask the seller or load owner for it rather than guessing.
4. Agree the booking directly
Use the contact options on the profile to speak to the business. Confirm availability, the transport and lifting included in the price, and any waiting or additional charges. Check the operator’s insurance, competence and relevant equipment documentation before agreeing the work.
HiabHub does not quote for the job or collect hire payments. Your chosen provider confirms the final arrangements and is the contact for booking changes. Keep its details and the agreed job description with your collection and delivery information.
